Client: St. Stanislaus Kostka Catholic Academy – Greenpoint, NY

The client, a private, Catholic elementary school located in the Greenpoint section of Brooklyn, were getting frustrated with managing their aging fleet of “SMART” boards.  It felt like they were constantly calling for repairs to the boards.  Projectors were failing, lamps and filters needed to be replaced, teachers were having trouble with connectivity and sound, and overall the display brightness was poor.  They decided it was time to invest in upgrading all their boards, in all 18 classrooms, to interactive flat panel displays.

After some discussion about their needs, we recommended the AG Neovo IFP-6502 65″ Interactive Flat Panel Display. These displays offer multi-touch capabilities and an embedded operating system, enabling users to directly access, collaborate and interact with the contents displayed on the screen. The all-in-one design with computing capability allows teachers to execute applications and engage with students directly through the display, while still providing multiple HDMI, VGA and usb inputs to allow for seamless connectivity with classroom PCs if desired.

We also provided a custom mounting system so the new displays could be installed in front of the blackboards.
